Statline of the Night: Blazers’ C.J. McCollum

Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum found himself in the Blazers back court yet again on Sunday Night without Damian Lillard by his side, but it didn’t matter in the end.

McCollum had arguably the best year of his young NBA career, posting a near triple-double with 35 points, 11 rebounds, (out rebounding DeMarcus Cousins) 9 assists, and 4 steals on 50% shooting from field in the Blazers’ 98-94 win over the Sacramento Kings.

McCollum is now averaging and even 20 points per game this year to go along with 3.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
