Steelers Designate LB Bud Dupree to Return From IR

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree will be marked as the Steelers’ one player designated to return from injured reserve, per the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Ralph N. Pauk.

Dupree practiced yesterday for the first time since sustaining a groin injury that caused him to miss the entire pre-season and the Steelers eight games up until this point.

The expectation is that Dupree will miss Pittsburgh’s match-up versus the Cowboys, but be activated for Week 11 versus the Cleveland Browns.

With the Steelers electing to bring Dupree back from IR, Ryan Harris and Senquez Golson’s season will officially be over due to injury,

The 23-year-old Dupree, who was a 1st round pick by the Steelers in 2015, played in all 16 regular season games last season (5 starts) and racked up 17 total tackles and 4 sacks.
