Maybe it’s because he doesn’t play for Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, or another top basketball program, but Keifer Sykes deserves more credit for his amazing play. Sykes has spent his career at the university of Wisconsin-Green Bay coming out of one of the biggest high schools in Chicago. He is averaging 18.3 points 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this season, which are similar and better numbers then most other point guards that get hype like, Marcus Paige, D’Angelo Russell, Tyler Ullis, Tyus Jones, and the list goes on.

Skyes has Green Bay 2nd in the Horizon League, and could get them into the NCAA tournament this season after just missing it last season, when Skyes was even more dominate, as he averaged 20 plus points. Skyes’ explosiveness for a 5’11 point guard is the most dynamic part of his game, which deserves him more credit.

I’m not saying he’s a top pick in the draft, but it would be a disgrace if he were to go un-drafted.  He can be a great point guard at the next level, and  would be a steal for any team that drafts him. Which ever team gets him, I consider them geniuses.
