#2 Clay Buchholz, Boston Red Sox

While his overall numbers on the season aren’t exactly as good as the best pitchers in baseball, Clay Buccholz has been very effective for the Red Sox this season, and as of late. Buchholz has an earned run average of 3.27 with a 7-6 win loss record and 104 strikeouts on the season in 110 innings of work for the Red Sox. He is not on the final vote for the American League.
