This is no late April Fool’s joke. As apart of the Eagles roster makeover, the team has added quarterback Tim Tebow to the equation, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer. Tebow had been a TV analyst for the SEC Network while he was out of the NFL.
Tebow was last a member of the New England Patriots in 2013, but didn’t end up making the team. Tebow previously had success with the Denver Broncos leading them to the AFC Divisonal Round. Tebow’s tenure with the Jets didn’t go anything like that however, as the team failed to meet expectations.
The former Heisman Trophy winner has 17 career passing touchdowns, for 2,422 passing yards along with 12 career rushing touchdowns for 989 yards. Tebow is the 4th quarterback on the Eagles roster, joining Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, and Matt Barkley.
