The Minnesota Timberwolves are interested in bringing back one of the best players in their franchise history. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Brooklyn Nets are discussing a trade that would send Garnett back to the Timberwolves, in-exchange for Thaddeus Young, who they acquired last off-season.
Garnett won a MVP award with the Timberwolves and also made 9 all-star teams as a member of the team. He is currently averaging 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and .3 blocks per game in limited action this season in 42 games with the Nets.
Garnett has a no trade clause in his contract, so if the deal becomes official, Garnett will have to approve the trade for it to be able to go through.
