Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Tony Allen missed game five of the Grizzlies-Warriors series due to a hamstring injury. When being defended by Allen this series, both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have struggled, and without Allen on the court, they took advantage big time. That is the reason why Allen is more than likely playing in game six.

While we can tell that Allen makes a big impact on the defensive side of the ball, it doesn’t really show as the Grizzlies are getting outscored by 19 per 124 minutes when Allen plays, and 16 in 119 minutes that Allen doesn’t play. Allen will be doing everything he can to try to get the Grizzlies to game seven with his ‘first team all-defense’ caliber. That’s for sure.
