The Wisconsin Badgers were on the brink of losing their 3rd game of the 2015-2016 season, something that didn’t happen to them during the 2014-2015 season till February.
Junior guard Bronson Koenig had other plans for the Badgers today, as the 21-year-old came into the game averaging a team high 16.5 points per game to go along with 3.8 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists.
With under 15 seconds to go and the Badgers needing a score to get them the lead, Koenig isolated, then drove into the paint to hit a pretty sweet layup, thus giving the Badgers their 3rd win on the season, and 3rd place at the 2K Classic behind Duke and Georgetown.
Koenig is now averaging 17.6 points on the year for Wisconsin.
