When Carlos Gomez was traded to the Houston Astros by the Milwaukee Brewers, he was sitting on 99 career home runs. 87 of those had been with the Brewers, and in tonight’s Astros-Rangers game, Gomez blasted his 100th career home run, and his 1st as a member of the Astros.

Gomez is now batting .269 on the season with 9 home runs and 47 runs batted in. He is batting .348 with 1 home run and 4 runs batted in for the Astros so far.
