VIDEO: Felix Hernandez Notches His Two Thousandth Career Strikeout

Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez is one good pitcher. He has done everything from throwing a perfect game, winning the Cy Young Award, being an all-star, and now he has one of the most impressive feats in Major League Baseball history. In today’s Athletics-Mariners game, Hernandez stuck out Sam Fuld for his two thousandth career strikeout. In doing so, Hernandez became the fourth youngest player to reach two thousand strikeouts joining Bert Byleven, Randy Johnson, and Sam McDowell.

Hernandez went seven full innings with six strikeouts in the Mariners 4-3 win over the Athletics as Hernandez improved to 6-0 on the season.
