Gerald Green turned 30 today, but he has been in a brutal shooting slump for the Heat as of late, shooting under 20% over the Heat’s last six games, but by this dunk right here, you wouldn’t be able to tell Green was struggling:
No Net player wanted any part of Green’s slam on that play. Green finished with 6 points and 2 assists on 3-6 shooting, coming up big for the Heat in the 4th quarter, helping them knock off the Nets 102-98. Green has been playing through injuries as of late, so this 50% shooting performance could give him confidence for the Heat’s game on Friday versus the Bucks in Milwaukee.
Green is averaging 10.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game for Miami this season.
