VIDEO: Martin Maldonado Blasts Walk-Off Homer in 17th Inning vs. D-Backs

Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado has been the Brewers starting catcher since Jonathan Lucroy broke his toe in April. In yesterday’s Arizona Diamondbacks-Milwaukee Brewers game, Maldonado knew it would be his last game as the starting catcher as Lucroy would be back in the lineup the next day. Maldonado also came into the game hitting .157, but a really good day can change that.

The game went a total of 17 innings in which Maldonado went 4-6 with two doubles and a home run. The home run won the game for the Brewers in the 17th inning, which you can see down below.

Maldonado helped break the Brewers seven game losing streak and helped his batting average slightly, as he is now batting .182 on the year with 3 home runs and 10 runs batted in.
