LeBron James once knocked down a shot so long in 2007 that no one until yesterday was able to top it.
The man who topped it is none other than Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond.
With limited time on the game clock in the first place, Drummond or someone on the Pistons needed to throw a full court shot up with the hopes of it going down. Drummond was 71 feet back when he knocked down this shot:
Those three points were part of a total of 12 that Drummond had for the game. That full court shot cut the Raptors lead to 5 at the end of the 3rd quarter, but Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are just too lethal to overcome most nights.
