Texas Rangers prospect Joey Gallo is one powerful dude, and he proved it again today during the Rangers’ Spring Training game versus the Los Angeles Rangers.
Gallo swung at Matt Shoemaker‘s 0-1 offering and hit a ball down the right field line that went over the fence and into a parking lot:
It is still unknown if Gallo damaged any vehicles with that mammoth bomb.
Gallo batted .204/.301/.417 last season with 6 home runs and 14 runs batted in over 123 plate appearances. The 22-year-old Gallo will enter the season as the Rangers top prospect, and will likely open his season with Triple-A Round Rock.
