After losing out on Jon Lester, the Boston Red Sox turned to the trade market to add another left handed pitcher and they were able to get their wish. According to Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal, the Diamondbacks have agreed to trade left handed former all-star pitcher Wade Miley to the Red Sox in-exchange for Rubby De La Rosa, and Allen Webster, both pitchers and a player to be named later.
#RedSox have agreement in principle for #DBacks’ Miley, sources tell me and @jonmorosi. AZ will get Webster, De La Rosa and a minor leaguer.

The Red Sox appear to be confident Miley will be able to preform at the all-star level he is capable of. The Red Sox have also talked to the Red Sox about Yovani Gallrdo and could be after James Shields another free agent pitchers on the market.
