For the 7th time in 8 games, Dwyane Wade scored 25 plus points. In today’s Trail Blazers-Heat game, Wade scored 32 points with 6 assists as he had back-to-back 30 point games for the first time this season. Wade’s 32 was the leading vocal point in the Heat’s win, as 15 of those 32 points came in the 4th quarter, where Wade is at his best.

Luol Deng finally looked like Luol Deng tonight, as he was recently playing through a leg injury which was making his performance a struggle. Deng was back tonight, shooting 9-13 from the field which was good for 24 points and 4 rebounds. The Heat are now 10-1 when Deng scores 20 or more. Hassan “Double-Double” Whiteside had yet again another double-double, as Whiteside had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 blocks in 33 minutes for the Heat tonight. Goran Dragic also went into double-double mode, as Dragic had 20 points and 11 assists. Udonis Haslem hit home his 2nd career three-pointer tonight, and also posted 7 points and 5 rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

For the Blazers, LaMarcus Aldridge couldn’t be stopped, as he went 15-24 from the field with 34 points and 12 rebounds. Damian Lillard contributed 17 points and 3 assists, while Arron Afflalo had 15 points and 3 rebounds. Chris Kaman had a near double-double for the Blazers with 9 point sand 13 rebounds in 18 minutes of action off the bench.

The Heat, (31-36), will continue their home stand in Miami to face-off against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The Blazers (44-22), will continue their road trip in Florida as they will take on the Orlando Magic on Friday.
