The Warriors have won the final installment of the Warriors-Clippers rivalry for the regular season at least, as the Warriors beat the Clippers by a score of 110-106 at Staples Center. The Warriors started off the game slow, but were able to claw back into the game as the Clippers weren’t able to retain the leads.
Stephen Curry continued his MVP like season, as he 27 points and dished out 4 assists on 8-15 shooting while going 4-6 from three. If you haven’t seen his crossover on Chris Paul you better check it out as well. Klay Thompson went 1-8 from the field in the 1st half, but finished 7-13 as he scored 25 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists. David Lee started only his second game of the season replacing Draymond Green, as Lee scored 17 points with 7 rebounds. Marreese Speights also had a big game off the bench, with 13 points, and 2 rebounds in the Warriors NBA leading 61st win.
Blake Griffin had a monster game which was good for his 18th double-double on the season, with 40 points leading all scorers and 12 rebounds. Chris Paul was an assist short of a double-double, with 27 points and 9 assists. J.J. Redick scored 14 points while dishing out 3 assists, and Matt Barnes and Austin Rivers contributed as Barnes had 8 points and 6 rebounds while Austin Rivers had 7 points along with 1 assist and 1 block in the Clippers losing effort tonight.
