WATCH: Charles Woodson Finally Intercepts Peyton Manning

Charles Woodson said he was hoping he was going to pick off Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for the 1st time in his career earlier this week:

“It would be great, man. He’s eluded me for 18 years,” Woodson said. “It would be great. It would be even better if we could come out with the victory. But it would be great to get my hands on one of Peyton’s balls.”

The 19-year veteran Woodson finally was able to do it, and it was a pass into the end zone as well.

Woodson now has 63 career interceptions, tying him for 7th on the all-time interceptions list with Darren Sharper and Ronnie Lott. This is also Woodson’s 3rd straight game with an interception. He has done that three previous times in his career in 2006 and 2007, both with the Green Bay Packers.
