UPDATE- December 30th, 2014 –

The Heat have finally given us some news on Napier. They have just sent him back to the NBA Development League

Shabazz Napier hasn’t played since December 17th versus the Utah Jazz and its so confusing to me why he hasn’t played. He isn’t hurt, there is nothing that’s a personal problem for him so what’s going on? That’s beyond me and every other fan. The Heat traded up to land Shabazz Napier in the draft and after a short stint in the D-League, Napier hasn’t done much for the Heat.

Sure Napier’s numbers don’t pop off the page, but with the way Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers have been playing, why on earth isn’t Napier getting any playing time? It’s not just Napier as well, James Ennis and others are not getting the minutes they were in the earlier part of the season.

It’s not Like Napier hasn’t been trusted in late games and made a few clutch shots for the Heat so what can be going on?

It’s time to get it started #FreeNapier. In all honesty, the Heat are struggling right now, and they need a spark from someone or something.
