Williams, Cavaliers Agree to two-year Deal

Mo Williams is back Cleveland Cavaliers fans, as the Cavaliers have signed the free agent point guard to a two-year deal worth 4.3 million. The deal includes a player option after the first year of the deal, as Williams spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets.

Williams finished the regular season averaging 14.2 points, 6.2 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game in 68 regular season games between the Timberwolves and Hornets. With the Hornets, Williams exploded, and averaged 17.2 points, 6 assists, and 2.8 rebounds.

Williams is returning to Cleveland for the first time since the 2010-2011 season, and is highly regarded as one of LeBron James’ teammates during LeBron’s first tenure in Cleveland.
