The Wisconsin Badgers are moving on to the Big Ten Championship game! The Badgers beat the Purdue Boilermakers today by a score of 71-51. The Badgers were down 35-30 at the end of the first half, but held Purdue to 16 points in the second half while they scored 41 to lead the 20 point win.

Bronson Koenig’s career high in points with 19 lead the way for the Badgers scoring wise. Nigel Hayes stepped up huge for the Badgers, scoring 15 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. The dynamic duo of Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker was once again effective, as Dekker had 15 points with 8 rebounds on 5-9 shooting. Frank Kaminsky had 12 points with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks in the win as well. Players who hardly play for Wisconsin were able to get in the game. Those players included, Jordan Smith, Aaron Moesch, Matt Ferris, and Riley Dearring.
