Melvin Gordon Declares for the NFL Draft

Wisconsin star running back Melvin Gordon is doing what we all expected him to do. Coming off his Heisman worthy season, Gordon rushed for 2,336 yards in 307 attempts scoring 26 touchdowns in a season that was clearly the best he ever had in college. Gordon has decided to capitalize on his great year and take his game to the next level.

Gordon also set a few records:

He set the FBS record for most rushing yards in a single game with 408 against Nebraska and that was shortly broken just a week later by Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine will 437 yards against Kansas. Gordon was a red shirt Junior at Wisconsin this season.

If you’re looking for a great running back who isn’t afraid of contact, look no further then Melvin Gordon, NFL scouts.
