VIDEO: Flyers’ Wayne Simmonds Scores Goal for 3rd Straight Game

The Philadelphia Flyers are on fire right now, as they are winners of their last four games, including last night’s 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils in overtime, thanks to Matt Read’s 4th goal on the season.

The man you can pinpoint as a big reason for the Flyers success is right wing Wayne Simmonds, who scored his 7th goal on the year in the 1st period off a Flyers power play, assisted by Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux.

Simmonds is now on a three-game goal streak that included two goals versus the Rangers last Saturday, and one empty-net goal versus the Senators on Tuesday.

The Flyers (11-10-5) are now 3 points back of Penguins and Panthers in the Wild Card standings. They host the Blue Jackets tonight at 7:30 eastern standard time.
