For only the second time this season, the Miami Heat have won three games in a row, as they defeat the Denver Nuggets 108-91. Dwyane Wade scored 20 plus points again for the 8th straight game as he had 22 points, and 4 assists. Hassan Whiteside recorded his 18th double-double of the season with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks as he was a major force again.

Goran Dragic continued to show the Heat why they will need to lock him up long term. He had 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists on 9-14 shooting. Luol Deng dropped 15 points, and the Heat’s bench had a few nice games. One of the came from Michael Beasley, as he had 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Mario Chalmers added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Henry Walker scored 9 points in the win.

The Nuggets entire starting five was in double figures, starting with Ty Lawson, who had 10 points and 12 assists for a double-double. Randy Foye added in 16 points, Wilson Chandler came with 13 points and 7 rebounds, Kenneth Faried had the best game out of the bunch, with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Finally for the Nuggets starting five, Jusuf Nurkic had 16 points and 7 rebounds in the losing effort for the Nuggets.

The Heat, (32-36), will head out to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder on Sunday to start a road trip for the Heat in which they will see the Bucks, Celtics, and Hawks before returning to South Beach. The Nuggets, (26-44), will stay in the Sunshine state to take on the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
